This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities prohibited on NetYatri services. We enforce this policy to keep the network safe, secure and fast for all customers.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not use our services to host, transmit or distribute:
- Illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), terrorist content, or content violating Indian law.
- Pirated software, movies, music, or copyrighted material without authorization.
- Phishing, fraudulent or deceptive content.
- Malware, viruses, trojans, ransomware or any malicious code.
- Hate speech, harassment, defamation or content inciting violence.
- Adult content involving minors or non-consensual material.
- Gambling sites (unless properly licensed in jurisdiction).
2. Prohibited Activities
- Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk email, SMS or messages.
- Phishing: Impersonating brands or individuals to steal credentials.
- Hacking: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, network or data.
- DoS / DDoS: Launching attacks against any system.
- Port scanning / probing: Unauthorized scanning of networks or servers.
- Cryptocurrency mining: Mining crypto on shared hosting (allowed on dedicated VPS/cloud with prior approval).
- Tor exit nodes / open proxies.
- Resource abuse: Sustained excessive CPU, RAM or I/O on shared hosting.
3. Email Policy
- Maximum 500 outbound emails per hour per cPanel account on shared hosting.
- Mailing lists must be opt-in only with documented consent.
- One-click unsubscribe must be honored within 10 days.
- Use of purchased email lists is prohibited.
4. Resource Usage
Shared hosting plans operate on a fair-use basis. Sustained usage above 25% CPU or 1 GB RAM for over 90 seconds may result in throttling or a request to upgrade. Cloud plans have dedicated resources.
5. Reporting Violations
To report a violation of this AUP, email [email protected]. Include the URL or IP and evidence. We respond to abuse reports within 24 hours.
6. Consequences
- Warning + 24-hour window to fix the issue.
- Service suspension for serious or repeat violations.
- Account termination without refund for severe violations (CSAM, fraud, attacks).
- Cooperation with law enforcement when legally required.
7. Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
